Jackson Browne coming to Ruth Eckerd Hall in Clearwater
The last time Jackson Browne came to Clearwater, things got emotional. This was just after the death of his good friend Glenn Frey of the Eagles, and Browne seemed to be taking it hard.
It's been more than a year, and Browne is finally ready to come back. He'll perform at Ruth Eckerd Hall in Clearwater on Jan. 18, the venue announced Thursday.
Instead of a full-band show, this will be an evening with collaborator Greg Leisz, a pedal steel guitarist who's worked with Joni Mitchell, Joe Cocker, Sheryl Crow and Beck. So expect to hear somewhat stripped-down versions of songs like Doctor My Eyes, Running on Empty, The Pretender, These Days and Take It Easy.
Tickets to Browne's concert are $52.75 and up, and they'll go on sale Sept. 23. Keep an eye out here for details.
