Today is National Pancake Day.
We could debate the reasons why it's National Pancake Day, but instead we'll focus on the more pressing matter: free pancakes.
If you visit any IHOP restaurant from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. (some locations are going to 10 p.m., but call ahead) you'll get a free short stack of original buttermilk pancakes, IHOP said on its website.
In return, IHOP asks that you consider making a donation to one of the charities listed here.
The restaurant chain has raised more than $24 million for its charitable partners through National Pancake Day since 2006, the company said. This year's goal is to raise $3.5 million.
IHOP has more than a dozen restaurants across the Tampa Bay area. You can find a location close to you by going here.
