Robert Randolph's music fuses rock with funk and blues through the traditional gospel sound of the pedal steel guitar. 'Rolling Stone' included the artist, whose sound is inspired by such beloved '70s soul/funk artists as Earth, Wind & Fire, Sly & the Family Stone and Stevie Ray Vaughan, on their list of the "100 Greatest Guitarists of All Time." He's currently touring to support his third studio album, 'We Walk This Road,' which is a celebration of the traditions of African-American music over the past century and the hopeful, uplifting social messages borne of the last 30 years.
