Dreamhouse Theatre announces shows for 2017-18 season

WESLEY CHAPEL — Dreamhouse Theatre in Wesley Chapel has announced shows for the coming season. The small theater, at 1840 Oak Grove Blvd., is selling tickets for six family-friendly shows for 2017-18. Tickets are $23 per show. A dream pass (season ticket) is $115.

I (Heart) Broadway Features some of the greatest love songs in musical theater. Evenings and matinees, Sept. 14 to 24.

The Fantasticks The longest-running musical in the world is a gem of the American musical theater. Features timeless classics like Try to Remember and Soon It's Gonna Rain. Evenings and matinees, Nov. 3 to 12.

It's a Wonderful Life The beloved American classic comes to life as a live 1940s radio broadcast. The story of George Bailey unfolds as he has a life-changing series of events one Christmas Eve. Features a preshow concert. Evenings and matinee, Dec. 7 to 10.

She Loves Me Set in the 1930s, this romantic comedy tells the tale of Amalia and Georg, two co-workers at a Hungarian perfume shop. Coming in February. Times and dates to be announced.

Faith County: Somewhere in the Middle of Nowhere Somewhere in South, there's a place where the beehive hairdo is still the rage, and Saturday nights are reserved for the tractor pull in nearby Pickler. A colorful collection of good ol' country folk gather for the county fair, and there's stiff competition in the arts and crafts category. Coming in April. Times and dates to be announced.

Hairspray It's 1962 in Baltimore, and lovable teen Tracy Turnblad has only one desire — to dance on the popular Corny Collins Show." Coming in June. Times and dates to be announced.
